First 10-second freestanding hold!

After 6 months of wall work, I finally held a freestanding handstand for 10 seconds today. It was wobbly as hell but I stayed up! The bailing practice really paid off - I felt confident enough to commit to the balance.

Shoulder elevation cues that clicked for me

I kept hearing "push the floor away" but it never clicked. What finally worked: imagine you're trying to make yourself as tall as possible while upside down. Think about reaching your shoulders toward your feet. Game changer for my line.

Just joined! Been lurking for a while. Started handstand training 3 months ago after years of thinking "I could never do that." Excited to be part of this community.

Sunday park session - Trinity Bellwoods

Weather looks good this Sunday. Anyone want to meet up at Trinity Bellwoods around 10am? I'll bring some yoga mats. All levels welcome - we can work on whatever you're focusing on.

Wrist warm-up that saved my training

Was getting serious wrist pain until I found this routine. 5 minutes before every session: wrist circles, finger pulses, wrist rocks on floor, prayer stretch. Non-negotiable now. Happy to share the full breakdown if anyone wants it.
